On Friday 22 December September from 17 – 19 hrs we will be celebrating the last day of Jerrold Saija’s solo presentation A slim band, something that binds, and a range of frequencies and Christian Friedrich’s UP/////DATE Touch Me Not with drinks and the presentation of Special Case #2.
The Special Cases are a new series of dossiers containing texts, documentation and materials functioning as an extension of each solo project. It’s a portable exhibition, thinking space, archive in one, produced as a collectible box.
Special Case #2 was produced for A slim band, something that binds, and a range of frequencies and contains the exhibition poster, hand-out and documentation, a commissioned text by curator Zippora Elders (in conversation with the artist) as well as some very special items that have been added by Saija in relation to his project. It comes in three versions: a standard box, edition of 25, a special box containing a limited edition of 4 and a free pdf download that will be available from 22 December.
