Postcards from the edge #17 – David Dale Gallery

29 October 2021

David Dale Gallery are presenting I didn’t think it would turn out this way, an exhibition of artists’ moving image by Glasgow-based artists at P/////AKT, Amsterdam. The exhibition includes six short films by Aman Sandhu, Anne-Marie Copestake, Clarinda Tse, Margaret Salmon, Mathew Wayne Parkin and Renèe Helèna Browne. The films will be screened within an environment built by artist collaborators Harriet Rose Morley and Bo Wielders who are based in the Netherlands.

The show marks the fourth part of P/////AKT’s exhibition program Am I an Object which loosely addresses the dissolving boundaries between the body and the object. I didn’t think it would turn out this way will open on Saturday 13 November.

Postcards from the edge is a series of online artist contributions around current and upcoming projects at P/////AKT. By the means of these small ‘notes’ we want to share some insights on the artistic thinking process leading up to exhibitions and presentations at the space. The contributions will be shared regularly through our website and social media channels.
