P/////AKT is proud to present Mask, Skin, Façade, a talk with Kasper Bosmans and Wouter Venema in the context of Venema’s current exhibition Façade.
For the exhibition finissage, Wouter Venema invited Kasper Bosmans to have an informal conversation around the topics of his exhibition at P/////AKT. The talk will explore the correspondences traceable in their work, such as the themes of mask, skin and façade. Skin, in particular, is an important starting point for Venema’s exhibition, to which Bosmans will add a work for the occasion. His triptych Legend Sint Rombout + Vitiligo (2016) deals with historical as well as contemporary anecdotes related to this subject.
