Gaillard & Claude created the book ‘Oompah, Tom-tom, Tootle-too & Toot Oompah, Tom-tom, Tootle-too & Toot’ (2017) narrating the story of four members of an orchestra who animatedly chat during a break backstage at the Henry Le Bœuf concert hall in Bozar, Brussels. Through gossip, arguments, and existential crises, they shake the axioms and notions of community, authenticity and happiness. Dialogues by Lili Reynaud-Dewar are illustrated by photographs by Kristien Daem. The sculptures of Gaillard & Claude depicted in the book are part of a larger corpus previously exhibited between 2015 and 2016 in Early Development of Calculus at Etablissement d’en face, A Proper Orchestra is Fun for Everyone! at Les Bains-Douches, A Finite Sum at In extenso and since in several group show. The Book and some members of the orchestra will be present in P/////AKT.
Thomas Nolf and Gauthier Oushoorn collaborated to document the K2 Megalith artifact as part of the attempt to organise an exhibition of peculiar artifacts in the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The work Megalith (2017) is a one to one scale drawing of the artifact, discovered in 2006 in the Ravne tunnel, just a few kilometers away from the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.
The book ‘Peculiar Artifacts in Bosnia and Herzegovina – an imaginary exhibition’ by Thomas Nolf is the result of a 4-year project in Bosnia-and-Herzegovina where he came across the existence of pyramids, stone spheres and other peculiar artifacts, discovered by Semir Osmanagich and his team. Aiming to draw an alternative biography that counteracts the post-war disillusion, he photographed, intervened and ultimately tried to pedestal the phenomena as a history to believe in.

De dialogen van Lili Reynaud-Dewar zijn geïllustreerd met foto’s van Kristien Daem. De in het boek afgebeelde sculpturen van Gaillard & Claude maken deel uit van een groter corpus, dat tussen 2015 en 2016 tentoongesteld werd tijdens ‘Early Development of Calculus’ bij Etablissement d’en face, ‘A Proper Orchestra is Fun for Everyone!’ bij Les Bains-Douches en ‘A Finite Sum’ bij In extenso en daarna in diverse groepstentoonstellingen. Met als streven een alternatieve biografie te schetsen als tegenhanger van de naoorlogse desillusie, maakte hij foto’s en interventies en ondernam hij uiteindelijk een poging om het fenomeen op een voetstuk te zetten als een geschiedenis om in te geloven.
